Before and After: Deadwood Removal

With a hint of Fall in the morning air, Friday was one of our best work days in recent memory! We started the day with this pruning task- deadwood removal in a large Cherry tree. Unfortunately, this tree was "topped" some years ago. The resulting vigorous growth grew up to form the current canopy. Many of the new shoots were out competed for sunlight, and died, resulting in a canopy full of deadwood. Our client brought us in after his windshield was smashed by a broken limb.
